INTERIOR PROVINCIAL EXHIBITION (Armstrong)

The 117th Interior Provincial Exhibition, www.armstrongipe.com, is an exciting 5-day agricultural fair - the largest event in the Interior of British Columbia with over 150,000 attendance. It is the premier event held each year on the Labour Day long weekend showcasing our agricultural history, cultural and artistic talents, and a meeting place for the entire communities of the Okanagan/Thompson and Shuswap regions. With 20 different exhibition divisions, including dairy, beef, sheep, goats, light and heavy horse, poultry, rabbits, swine, 4-H, baking/canning, sewing/fancywork, floral, fruit, vegetables, honey, field and seed, wine and beer, photography, rodeo, parade and music. The IPE includes a multitude of displays and demonstrations, including Kid’s World, a historical village, mini chuck wagons, educational activities, lumberjack show, petting zoo, midway and interactive family entertainment. There is also the Ram Truck music stage, Kids stage and over 200 vendors, as well as the Wrangler Pro Rodeo. This year’s theme is in celebration of our Field and Seed Division with “Bushels of Fun for Everyone”
